What moves its price?

Soybeans move on weather conditions in the US and Brazil during their respective harvest seasons, import demand from China (the world's largest buyer, mainly to feed its hog industry), and US-China trade tensions, which have historically had a direct impact on its price.

It's traded mainly through futures or CFDs with a regulated broker. Since it depends on two major producing regions in different hemispheres, its harvest cycle is nearly continuous throughout the year.
